English classes are provided to any and all individuals who wish to improve their English speaking skills and are seeking an opportunity to practice their English within a safe, encouraging environment.
From September to June, we offer English instruction for four class levels, Beginner, Upper Beginner, Intermediate and Upper Intermediate. These classes are currently taught on Tuesday morning and Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday afternoon with a combined conversation class on every second Friday afternoon from 12:30 p.m.to 2:30 p.m.
All classes are free but students are asked to buy their own activity books. Workbooks are provided for use during classes.
All classes are overseen by a TESOL certified teacher with volunteers leading and participating in these classes in various ways.
An ESL Bible Class is offered on alternate Friday afternoons from 12:15 to 2:30 p.m. for any interested seekers with questions about the Bible.
On Sundays, an ESL sermon discussion time is offered during the 11:00 hour to review, clarify and discuss the morning's topic. Bibles in other languages are available on loan, at the Welcome Desk, for use during the church services.
